About the Study
Pass It On is a clinical trial to see if convalescent plasma helps patients with COVID-19 recover faster. Convalescent plasma is part of blood that contains antibodies.
Essential workers, racial and ethnic minorities, and those with underlying health conditions are being impacted the most by COVID-19. It is important that researchers find a treatment for COVID-19 that helps everyone, especially those most affected.

What is convalescent plasma?
Convalescent plasma is the liquid part of blood that contains antibodies. Convalescent plasma can be collected from patients who have recovered from COVID-19 because they have antibodies that help fight the virus. Research suggests convalescent plasma might help patients who are sick with COVID-19.
How the findings will be used
Information from this study will help researchers learn if convalescent plasma helps patients recover from COVID-19. After the study, researchers will share the findings in a peer-reviewed journal article.
A summary of the study results will also be shared on ClinicalTrials.gov and this website.
